Description:

The research ViewCar is equipped with a wide range of sensors, cameras and computing hard- and software. The vehicle set-up enables to develop datafusion algorithms, enables to analyse the driver’s behaviour in common traffic scenarios and the vehicle serves as a tool for validation of prototypes.

Features:

►    Measuring the absolute vehicle position with high accuracy

►    Detecting objects with use of a laser scanner, a radar system and video data

►    Calculating the driver’s view direction using image data processing

►    Measuring test driver’s condition, such as heart rate and skin conduction
