Name of Infrastructure:
Galileo Laboratory
Description:
The Galileo Laboratory at the Institute of Flight Guidance at the TU Braunschweig
provides a controlled environment to analyse and test navigation systems,
applications and algorithms in a reproduceable manner. This can be used to
support development, evaluation and optimization of those applications and
systems. Besides other the Galileo Laboratory consists of a hardware multi
constellation GNSS simulator and a software evaluation and testing environment.
Application examples:
- Analysis of receiver performance in a reproducible multi-constellation environment
- Rapid prototyping and validation of new acquisition and tracking algorithms
- Exploration of the influence of multipath and evil waveforms
- Receiver benchmarking and certification
- Development and testing of GNSS-frontends
