aviationGATE
Description:
The aviationGATE located at the research airport Braunschweig, covering the landing, taxiways, apron and the area around the airport with Galileo pseudolite signals is driven by the Insitute of Flightguidance at TU Braunschweig. Using the transmitted Galileo signals on E1, E5a and E5b the aviationGATE offers testing possibilities for airborne applications or even ground based applications as apron navigation. Combining known technologies and infrastructure available in Braunschweig the aviationGATE offers unique research and testing possibilities.
Application examples:
- Requirement definition in three phases of flight including take off, cruising and landing
- Testing under real-life operating conditions
