GNSS and its applications are becoming more and more part of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), like in intelligent co-operative systems. These systems are based on vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I) communications and will expand on the functionality of the autonomous and stand-alone in-vehicle and infrastructure-based systems, such as Intelligent Vehicle Safety Systems (eSafety systems), including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), traffic control and management systems. This applies for requirements concerning hardware and software as well as satellite navigation specific parameters. In preparation for certification and acceptance, several development steps and tests have to be performed and documentation has to be produced. Within GAUSS, specialists can assist you through the development and certification process.

The customer receives support and assistance with all questions concerning testing, certification, acceptance, conformity and interoperability. Tests will be fully independent from the development. The time required for obtaining the certification of a component or sub system will be decreased and the market launch may be brought forward.
