Certification of Manufacturing Processes
Description/ Beschreibung
The lifecycle of safety critical products includes of course manufacturing. The manufacture of safety orientated systems or components are obliged to fulfil many requirements, for example those of IEC 61508 governing the “management of functional safety”. Evidence must be provided for each product. When a functional safety management system has been introduced and certified as an add-on to the QM system, such a system can be used as evidence for all subsequent products.

- Identification of gaps in processes and support by filling them
- Certification of manufacturing processes which are conform to the standards
